Men’s Therapeutic Yoga

Every Wednesday, 6:30-8:30 PM

“The body is a boat which carries the soul in the ocean of the world.
If it is not strong, or it has a hole, then it can’t cross the ocean.

In this small class tailored to your abilities, limitations, & experience, you’ll learn to use Yoga & Ayurveda to achieve your specific wellness goals, like:
* becoming stronger & more flexible,
* better managing stress,
* being able to focus better & be more grounded, etc.

If you have have a chronic ailment, each week you’ll also learn specific breath practices, stretches, and life-style changes that have traditionally been used to self-treat ailments like:
* back/neck pain,
* allergies,
* excess weight,
* insomnia,
* depression,
* HIV,
* arthritis,
* digestive problems, etc.

INSTRUCTOR: Bart Church, who has studied yoga & Ayurveda for more than 20 years (under certified Iyengar & Raja Yoga instructors) and taught therapeutic yoga for more than 13 years.

DONATIONS:  First class is FREE. You can pay for classes in one the following ways:

20 Class Card—$160 ($8/class)

10 Class Card—$100 ($10/class)

5 Class Card— $60 ($12/class)

Drop In— $15/class

Work Study—you can volunteer time at $10 per hour credit.  You must schedule our work study hours before attending class.  Please call Bart at 503-223-8822x2.
