May Spirit guide us . . .

“Work, stress & isolation were affecting my mental and physical health. Through Manifest’s yoga & meditation classes, I’ve really found peace and a connection with the flow of my life. I’ve even quit smoking!”

ECO-HIKES (Manifest NE Studio)

1st Sunday & 3rd Saturday (June-October), 10 am- late afternoon, meet at Manifest NE Studio

Twice a month one of our naturalists leads a walk or hike in a powerful place, a place so beautiful and alive that we are tricked into the present moment and our deep connection to native plants, water, earth, one another, and our selves.  Our Eco-Hikes are not about hiking “to” an objective or even learning about the names & uses of native plants.  They are about being so fully in a place that you become part of its aliveness, part of its enormous beauty and living stillness.  Within Portland and nearby are so many extraordinary places calling to us to rejoin the sacred flow of life.  Our hikes are usually easy, our pace is generally slow, and we focus on connecting with ourselves, one another, and the eco-system we’re exploring.

FACILITATOR:  David Barts, our barefoot naturalist, is nicknamed Pulakli, which is a native tribal word that means “dark.” He is assisted by Bart Church who has been leading mindfulness trips into nature for 20 years.
