YIN YOGA (Manifest NE studio)YIN YOGA: Deep Opening thru Sustained Effort Thursdays, 7:45-9:15 pm EVENT DESCRIPTION: In this gentle, powerful class, you’ll be holding poses (stretches) anywhere from 3-10 minutes using various supporting props and breath practices. This will allow you to sink deeply into your body, and open deeply in your muscles, fascia, lymphatic, circulatory, & energy systems. BENEFITS: Both beginners & more experienced students can achieve greater flexibility while addressing short/long term body & life challenges. You can increase energy in the morning and invite restfulness at night. Bring the body to its’ natural alignment. Increase blood-flow to the discs in the spine for a regenerating and restoring effect. INSTRUCTOR: Alex Rosan has studied various styles of yoga in Boston & Portland for four years, focusing on Vinyasa (flow) and Yin. He teaches Yin Yoga because of the incredible benefits this practice has brought to his own physical and mental well-being. DONATIONS: First class is FREE.
